Jes began an on-again, off-again relationship with yoga in her teens, which has evolved into a steady and joyful practice. A strong curiosity in the philosophical and ethical teachings of yoga and Buddhism grounds her exploration of their contemporary role in the world. She draws from her experience on and off the mat to guide students through the exploration of breath, movement and mind by creating a safe, fun and challenging environment in her yoga classes.
Jes is a full-time registered massage therapist and part-time educator at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic. She has studied acupuncture, yoga (yin, hatha), meditation and various energy medicine modalities. “Love is gratitude for being.” – Saul Bellow
